By Flight :
You can fly to Calicut or Cochin International Airports in India, directly from your country. Calicut is well connected to other cities in India by Air, Rail and Road. There are domestic flights to Calicut from other major airports in India like Mumbai, Chennai, Delhi, Bangalore, Goa, Mangalore, Coimbatore, Cochin and Trivandrum. Calicut International Airport is just 12 kms and Cochin International Airport is 160 kms away from Kadavu Resort (venue of the symposium).
To NIT Calicut - You can reach NIT Calicut by taxi from the Calicut Airport and the Taxi fare is approximately Rs. 750/-
To Kadavu Resort - You can reach Kadavu resort by taxi from the Calicut Airport and the Taxi fare is approximately Rs. 350/-
By Rail :
Direct trains/ coaches are available from Calicut to the major centres in India which include New Delhi, Jammu Tawi, Gorakhpur, Bombay, Calcutta, Guwahatti, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Madras, Ahmedabad, Indore, Trichy, Mangalore, Trivandrum and Varanasi. The Calicut bound trains take deviation from the main Madras-Cochin route from Palghat Junction or Shornur Junction.
To NIT Calicut - You can reach NIT Calicut by taxi from the Kozhikode (Calicut) Railway station and the taxi fare is approximately Rs. 400/-.

You can reach NIT Calicut by autorikshaw from the Kozhikode (Calicut) Railway station and the fare is approximately Rs. 300/-.
OR
You can reach NIT Calicut by bus from Calicut Railway station. From Railway station go to Palayam Bus station by taking an Autorikshaw (Fare: Rs.10/-) and take a bus to NIT Calicut (buses to Mukkam, Areekkode, etc. via Kunnamangalam ) and get down at NIT Calicut bus stop (Also known as REC Bus stop).
To Kadavu Resort - You can reach Kadavu resort by taxi from Kozhikode (Calicut) Railway station and the Taxi fare is approximately Rs. 350/-
By Road :
Calicut is (road) connected to Bombay via Mangalore and Goa (NH 17). The connection to Kanyakumari is via Cochin and Trivandrum (NH 17 and NH 47). Bangalore is connected via Sultan Battery, Gundelpet and Mysore (NH 212). Madras is via Malappuram, Palghat, Coimbatore and Salem (NH 213 and NH 47), and Ooty is via Nilambur and Gudallur (State Highway). You can reach NIT Calicut by taxi from the Kozhikode (Calicut) bus station (KSRTC or private bus station) and the taxi fare is approximately Rs. 400/-

For Students/ Research Scholars
Limited number of seats are available at the Guest Rooms of NITC Hostels for student participants, on a ‘first come first serve’ basis. Those who are interested may contact the Hospitality committee in the email given above. Conveyance facilities will be available between NITC campus and the symposium venue.
All the participants are requested to keep a ‘Photo Identity Card’ with them during their stay in the hotels.
